Welcome to the Children's Garden Program at the UC Davis Plant Science Teaching Center and Student Farm. Thousands of elementary school children visit our working farm and garden site each spring to learn about garden ecology and growing food. We offer hands-on training for college students, teachers, parents and volunteers who work with school gardens. View the Fall 2008 Workshops for School Garden Educators The Fall Workshop series will return in 2009. View the link above for a sample of our offerings. The Creating and Sustaining Your School Garden (CSYSG) workshops have been especially popular and we continue to receive requests about future CSYSG offerings. We are currently reviewing our capacity for offering additional CSYSG workshops in the coming year, and will post and send announcements if they become available. Please address queries to Jeri Ohmart, Program Coordinator, jlohmart@ucdavis.edu.
